Student Conduct
Student Conduct
- Attendance: Consistent attendance and engagement in weekly lessons are essential for student progress and preparation for assessments. Poor attendance may hinder a student’s growth and understanding.
- Materials: Students are responsible for bringing appropriate learning materials, such as pens, paper, a laptop, and relevant and prescribed texts for discussion. Please do not ask to borrow texts from the tutor.
- Preparation: Students should prepare their work, not at the last minute. Deadlines set by students will not be accepted.
- Questions: Students should ask questions at the beginning of class, not while packing up.
- Health: Please notify us in advance if you are sick and need to reschedule. Online lessons are available as an alternative, and we request that students do not attend in-person if they have flu-like symptoms.
- Hygiene: Please maintain good hygiene. Deodorant is expected for in-person lessons.
- Online Lessons: Webcams are required to be functional and on during lessons.
- Use of AI: We acknowledge that students utilise AI, however, we support NESA Guidelines, and we expect students to develop and demonstrate personal understanding of subject areas. Materials brought or submitted to us that are clearly not the student’s own work or not acknowledged appropriately will first be addressed with the student, and then with parents or guardians in a subsequent instance.
